01
TRIVANDRUM/KOCHI – DELHI – AGRA OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL

Arrive at Trivandrum /Cochin international airport. After arrival at Delhi, meet our representative. Lunch at a local restaurant, Later drive to Agra(4 ½hrs),Check in on arrival at hotel with a welcome drink. Dinner and over night stay at hotel.

AGRA -JAIPUR(250 kms 5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, checkout from hotel, Visit Taj Mahal-one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After that visit Agra Fort, built in the period of Akbar the Great in 1565, and continued by another two Mughal generations, a true master piece of design and in construction. Lunch at a local restaurant, after that en route to Fatehpur Sikri an exquisite city built by Akbar the Great in 1569, in red sandstone;with its forts, palaces and mosques abandoned 14 years after its creation due to political reasons. Then proceed to Jaipur(5hrs drive), check in and overnight stay at hotel.(D)

JAIPUR

After breakfast visit Albert Hall Museum, one of the oldest museum of the state and functions as the State museum of Rajasthan. The building is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob and was opened as public museum in 1887.

Visit Hawa Mahal known as "Palace of Winds" or “Palace of the Breeze”) built in 1799 by Maharaja swami Pratap Singh, designed by Lal Chand Ustad in the form of the crown of Krishna, the Hindu god. Its unique five-storey exterior is also akin to the honeycomb of the beehive with its 953 small windows called jharokhas that are decorated with intricate latticework.The original intention of the lattice was to allow royal ladies to observe everyday life in the street below without being seen, since they had to observe strict "purdah" (face cover). Besides this, the lattice also provides cool air caused by the Venturi effect(doctor breeze) through the intricate pattern and thereby air conditioning the whole area during the high temperatures in summers.

After that visit City Palace which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings, is a palace complex in Jaipur.

Then visit Birla mandir the Hindu temple is part of one of the several Birla temples built by the Birla family in different cities. All these temples are magnificently built in white marble. Lunch at local restaurant. After that visit Amber Fort Old capital of rulers of Jaipur. Over night stay at hotel(L,D)

JAIPUR – DELHI(260 kms 5 hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel, proceed to Delhi on arrival lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Akshardham Temple ;Also referred to as Delhi Akshardham or Swaminarayan Akshardham, the complex displays millennia of traditional Hindu and Indian culture, spirituality, and architecture. The building was inspired and developed by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the spiritual head of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha, whose 3,000 volunteers helped 7,000 artisans construct Akshardham.

DELHI

After breakfast visit Qutub Minar -the 239feet sandstone tower is an Indo Islamic Architecture wonder of ancient India.

Humayun's tomb -One of he most spectacular Mughal buildings , Humayun's tomb was added to UNESCO's World Heritage list in 1993.

Rashtrapati bhavan, India Gate & other important government buildings. Visit Lotus temple after having lunch. Visit Lotus temple,old Delhi- Visit the Jama Masjid – built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, the Jama Masjid is the largest and one of the most magnificent mosques in India. Visit Red fort built by Shahjahan itself in 1648.

Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial built for Mahatma Gandhi.

After breakfast proceed to Delhi international airport for return journey.
